Corum Race Night at Jura, Mayfair

A fun night of adrenalin pumping race action took place on 17th September to mark the official launch of Corum at Jura Watches, Mayfair.  The event (over subscribed) had a fantastic atmosphere with over 40 people entering a fiercely contended battle to win a stunning Admirals Cup Corum Watch.  Congratulations to Winner, Mel Sassa, who remained calm and unflappable until the end and went on to win by a narrow margin.

Dent & Co are back

We are very proud to have become the first retailer of the re-launched watch brand, Dent & Co in London. Dent are probably most famous for building the most famous clock in the world, Big Ben. The company has a much deeper history than even that would suggest, having been founded in 1814 by Edward J Dent. JeanRichard Launch Evening

Last wednesday we held an event to showcase the new collection from JeanRichard including all the new models that were realeased in Basel this year. The event was done in conjunction with MV Augusta motorbikes and there were two stunning bikes on show (and sit on..).  Quadriga car club also attended and gave away a weekend in a supercar to one lucky lady who attended.

Eberhard Film Evening

May 8th 2008: Jura proudly welcomed Eberhard & Co, Sales Director, Mario Peserico to host a special event celebrating Eberhard's watch making lineage and the first UK delivery of the Limited Edition 120th Anniversary Watch.

Over 60 VIPs including members of the press and a host of serious watch collectors attended.  Guests found out more about the brand (exclusive to Jura Watches in the UK) and were able to view the entire new Eberhard collection; launched in Basel this year along side the world's largest collection of antique Eberhard watches throughout the ages.

Bremont EP120 Spitfire Watch

With the two annual watch fairs in Switzerland now over, there is some time to reflect on all the new watches launched and we have decided that one of the most exciting and one that we have been getting a lot of enquries for is Bremont's new limited edition. This is something a little special, in fact, very special! Some of the components on the watch are made from the metal of an actual Spitfire plane which flew in WWII and shot down 7 enemy planes. That plane is called the EP120, a MKV Spitfire built in 1942. The watch is due for delivery in Sept/Oct and we have already taken quite few deposits in the first week! Limited to 935 pieces, this automatic chronograph is completely black and has a unique design. The watch is an homage to the legendary first chronograph that was entirely black and was designed by F.A. Porsche 35 years ago. Case made of PVD-coated titanium. Dial with day and date display. Girard-Perregaux New SeaHawk 1000M

Girard-Perregaux will launch at Basel this year the stainless steel Sea Hawk Pro 1000 metres, as shown above. They already have the SeaHawk with a 3,000 meter water resistance but due to high demand have created this variation. Pre-Orders taken now.

Bell & Ross launch new Limited Editions

At Basel in April this year Bell & Ross will show off their new BR 01 limited editions, one with a yellow dial and one with a red dial. These highly desirable watches are always in short supply due to the small production for each model, Jura will be hoping to secure 1 watch per model for its customers. Also available in red and yellew dial will the same watch with chronograph.

Also new for this year will be a release of the blue dial and phantom dial in the smaller BR03 case size, again limited edition.
